There are mermaids and witches in the game for gods sake hahaĪll these minor things can be designed depending on the game. Again, I feel like the whole all or nothing thinking is just plain silly - as if no wheelchairs is better than having the immersion be "broken" for like two seconds when the sim goes into the pool. Or you can just let the sim get up and get into the pool "normally" - majority of wheelchair users are able to use their legs to some extent.

You could just make an animation of the sim sitting down on the ground from the chair and then sliding into the water from the edge. But if the pool is one of the only reasons to not include a chair, then scrap the pool. I don't know, I don't make games so I don't feel like my insight is the best on the mechanics of it. I don't care manĪlso I've never met a person who's ass has been glued to their chair Is that a reason to throw any inclusion or representation to the bin? Because someone might make edgy jokes? C'mon. Things were so dark and I promise you that life will get better no matter how bad it is. To those of you still struggling to accept your new disabilities, I get it. All these comments are making me realize how little you all know about disabilities which is exactly why representation matters.Burn victims wear compression garments.Using a chair isn’t offensive and if you think it is you need to get some therapy.Y’all said the same thing about black hair styles.Blind people use canes & well trained dogs and aren’t always running into things. No one will make you, just like with trans sims, black sims, ghost sims.It would help people to be a little more kind.Įdit: damn, some of you are the most sensitively insensitive people I’ve ever heard from. I think it would do a lot to help people understand that disabilities can be invisible and they aren’t a choice. Or your sim is in so much pain they can’t get out of bed that day?Īs a person with disabilities, it would be amazing to see my struggles and lifestyle be represented. Why isn’t this a thing? Why can’t your sim live out their days as a burn victim & survivor after a nasty kitchen fire? Sims that have to take medicine multiple times a day or they’ll die. Blind sims, wheelchair bound sims, sims that have prosthetics. That being said, I wish there were disability inclusion. Natural hair textures for people of all backgrounds was an awesome thing to add that meant a lot to many people of color.
